The Magic Battery has undergone safety tests consisting of high-temperature exposure, puncture, impact, vibration and water immersion.
The TQ Wuling Magic Battery technology is currently in more than three million new-energy vehicles globally with no reported incidents of battery fire or explosion across its fleet.
The onboard charger is 7kW. For the 400km variant, it takes 6 hours and 45 minutes to recharge from 20% to 80% while with DC fast charging it takes 20 minutes to recharge from 30% to 80%. For the 300km variant, AC charging takes 5 hours and 15 minutes, also from 20% to 80%. Meanwhile, DC charging for the 300km takes 30 minutes from 30% to 80%.

Lower Running Costs, Greater Fleet Efficiency
For commercial operators, the purchase price and total operating costs are equally important.
The Porta EV is built to reduce the cost of maintaining a commercial vehicle. Scheduled service is every six months or 10,000km, whichever comes first, with servicing costs of less than RM2,000 over five years.
This represents potential savings of over 65% compared with conventional diesel vans, helping businesses manage long-term fleet operating expenditure. For operators running multiple vehicles, the lower routine maintenance interval can also support a more effective fleet planning and vehicle utilisation.
