Nexen Tire Malaysia launch
Nexen Tire Malaysia has launched two new tires in Malaysia, N’Fera Primus UX and N’Blue S. Both tyres are suitable for both electric vehicles (EVs) and internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles and are suited to the Malaysian climate and humidity.
Nexen tyres are marked with an EV Root logo which identify the as EV-compatible tyres. EVs have heavier kerb weights and along with the instant torque, places more demands on tyres, tread design and compound composition.
The N’Fera Primus UX is an ultra-high performance tyre with a reinforced construction that keeps the tyre stable on highways. The durability has been improved and it now has approximately 20 per cent improved tread wear over its predecessor.
Designed around the One Universal Fit strategy, the N’Fera Primus UX is suitable for all makes.
The N’Blue S is a touring tyre built for heavy rain. The tread design channels water away from the contact patch to reduce the risk of aquaplaning. In addition, the low rolling resistance construction helps reduce fuel consumption.
The range is fitted as original equipment on selected vehicles including the Volkswagen Golf and
Audi A3, and is available in Malaysia in 110 sizes, from 14 to 17-inch rim diameters.
Both the N’Fera Primus UX and N’Blue S are covered under the Nexen Tire Exchange Programme, which provides six months of unconditional one-to-one replacement against eligible road hazard damage1. The programme is available now through participatingdistributors. Customers are required to register their tyres at the time of purchase.
