Lalaport Transportation Hub improves mobility and cross-border connectivity

Lalaport Transportation Hub has launched at Lalaport Bukit Bintang City Centre. The 24-hour, mall-integrated terminal streamlines bus, rail and last‑mile connections for local and cross‑border travellers within Kuala Lumpur city centre, particularly for Kuala Lumpur–Singapore routes.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Hannah Yeoh officiated the launch ceremony, while APAD Deputy Director of Development Azrin Borhan, Kuala Lumpur Mayor Datuk Seri Fadlun Mak Ujud, and Japan’s Ambassador to Malaysia H.E. Noriyuki Shikata attended. The hub began phased operations in February 2026, and Transport Minister Anthony Loke visited the site in January 2026 to review progress ahead of full commencement.

LTH is at Level LG1 in the East Atrium of LaLaport BBCC. It is a fully sheltered facility with 11 bus bays, two air‑conditioned waiting lounges, physical counters, self‑service machines and a Passenger Information Display System (PIDS) that shows real‑time bus schedules. There are also ATMs, money changers, luggage lockers, 24‑hour security, complimentary Wi‑Fi, restrooms and accessibility features for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.

LTH connects directly to major rail networks through covered pedestrian access to the Hang Tuah LRT and Monorail stations and nearby MRT links.

Mitsui Fudosan (Asia) Malaysia Managing Director Masayoshi Saito said LTH is a strategic mobility facility that smooths journeys for local and overseas travellers while supporting the government’s sustainable mobility agenda and tourism growth. He added that passengers can easily access LaLaport BBCC’s roughly 300 stores, food and beverage outlets, retail offerings and entertainment while waiting.

Asia Success Resources Sdn Bhd (ASR) operates LTH and also manages transport hubs at KLIA Terminal 2, while Semba Corporation partnered to develop the hub and led functional planning and overall design.
