Denza Z9GT now in Malaysia, from RM359k

Denza Z9GT electric grand tourer makes Asia-Pacific debut

Denza Malaysia launched the Z9GT in Malaysia, marking the electric grand tourer’s debut in the Asia-Pacific region. The electric grand tourer is RM258,800 before insurance, road tax and other relevant taxes.

Mr Liu Xueliang, Vice President of BYD and General Manager of BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division, was present at the launch along with Jacob Ma, Managing Director of BYD Malaysia.

As the first model equipped with the BYD Second Generation Blade Battery, the DENZA Z9GT delivers enhanced safety, longer battery life and ultra-fast charging, providing greater convenience and confidence for our customers,” said Ma.

Built on BYD’s e3 platform and powered by the BYD second generation Blade Battery, the Z9GT supports BYD Flash Charging Technology enabling charging from 10% to 70% in 5 minutes and 10% to 97% in 9 minutes. The new battery has approximately 5% higher energy density compared to its predecessor but retains the safety standards of the Blade Battery family.

The Z9GT is powered by a tri-motor, all-wheel drive system that delivers 1156PS (850kW) and 1210Nm of torque. 0-199km/h takes 2.7 seconds and the range is around 600km.

Advanced intelligent technologies in the Z9GT enable handling capabilities not commonly found in cars. These include

• rear axle steering up to 15°for precision handling
• 4.62 metre turning radius
• e³ Parking
• Crab Mode
• Pencil Compass Turn
• Vehicle Motion Control (VMC)

Comfort features in the Z9GT include a Devialet® 20-speaker audio system and intelligent connectivity from a high-performance processor with Google built-in.

The Denza Z9GT comes in Rime Gold or Obsidian Black with a choice of interior combinations. These include

• Rime Gold with Dark Chocolate and Perg Beige interior
• Rime Gold with all-black interior with suede seats and yellow stitching.
• Obsidian Black with Dark Chocolate & Red Velvet interior
• Obsidian Black with Dark Chocolate and Perg Beige interior
• Obsidian Black with all-black interior with suede seats and yellow stitching
