ETCM to extend warranties of Nissan cars after the MCO period

Owners of Nissan cars with warranties expiring during the MCO period will get a 30-day extension.

Hey Nissan car owners, is your car’s warranty ending during the Movement Control Order period? Good news! Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) has extended the warranty of Nissan cars about to expire by an additional 30 days from the last day of the MCO.

ETCM says that warranties will remain valid even if the preventative maintenance service schedule intervals cannot be performed during this MCO Period. And patrons are encouraged to reschedule service appointments within 30 days after the MCO is lifted to keep the vehicle warranty active.

The rescheduling can be done via DriveOn mobile app, at Tan Chong Ekspres Auto Servis Sdn. Bhd. (TCEAS) website, call centre or direct booking at TCEAS Service Centres after MCO.

Surely, ETCM has foreseen that the possibility of service centres may experience a huge surge of cars coming in for service after MCO. Therefore, TCEAS will extend its business operation from Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 8.00 pm, whereas Kelantan and Teregannu will operate from Sunday to Thursday.
