First-ever Kia Ownership Experience from 11 to 17 May for Kia Sales Malaysia to reconnect with existing owners
Kia Sales Malaysia is hosting the first-ever Kia Ownership Experience at Kia Glenmarie 3S Centre from 11-17 May 2026. The week-long initiative to showcase aftersales operations and strengthen customers’ confidence. It is part of Kia Sales Malaysia’s commitment to Return, Rebuild, and Reposition the Kia brand in Malaysia.
There is also a Family Day programme from 15 to 17 May. This is for Kia owners, their families and members of the public to experience service-related activities, technical engagement sessions regarding vehicle maintenance best practices, refreshments, children’s activities, exclusive promotions. They will also have access to Kia’s latest products and services. In addition, for existing owners there are rebates through the Kia Circle loyalty without any need to trade in their current Kia.
The Kia Ownership Experience is for KSM to reconnect with existing owners, better understand the evolving needs of Malaysian customers, and further enhance technical knowledge across its local dealer network.
A highlight of the Ownership Experience is Hyung Gyu Choi (H.G. Choi), Senior Technical Manager of Kia’s Ownership Operation Team. Choi is a Global Master Technician. He joined Kia in 1993 and has over 34 years of experience of global aftersales and technical experience. He will lead technical demonstrations and, supported by KSM’s technical team will personally inspect more than 100 Kia vehicles. These include the Forte, Cerato, Optima, Picanto, Sorento, Grand Carnival, Sportage and Sephia models, some of which have more than 400,000km on their clocks. Kia Sales Malaysia is committed to providing aftersales support for all Kia vehicles in Malaysia. Kia cars have been sold in Malaysia since 1996. The customers participating in the Kia Ownership Experience with confirmed appointments will receive complimentary engine oil, original Kia windscreen wipers and a car wash following their inspection.

Kia Sales Malaysia also announced the introduction of the Kia Maintenance Plan. This is to provide owners with greater convenience and predictable servicing costs to ensure long-term peace of mind. Customers can lock in servicing costs throughout the coverage period, as protection against future price increases for labour, parts or engine oil prices. The Plan covers:
- Full synthetic engine oil and oil filter replacement
- Cabin filter replacement
- Engine air filter replacement
- Brake fluid replacement
- Spark plug replacement
- Comprehensive multipoint vehicle inspection
The Kia Maintenance Plan is currently available for selected Kia Sportage and Kia Carnival variants. For the Kia Sportage 1.6T, the plan is RM2,980 for five years or 50,000km. This is based on a service interval of one year or 10,000km. Meanwhile for the 2.0, it is RM3,680 for five years or 75,000km, based on a service interval of one year or 15,000km.
For all Kia Carnival 2.2D variants — including the seven-seater, eight-seater, and 11-seater — the cost is RM3,580 for five years or 50,000km, based on a service interval of one year or 10,000km.
The Kia Ownership Experience is at the Kia Glenmarie flagship 3S centre. Also at the event are industry partners Goodyear, TRAPO, and EV Connection (EVC). Throughout the event period, these partners have exclusive promotions, special offers, product showcases, and giveaways for customers and visitors.
Kia Glenmarie which will soon be operated by the newly-appointed Cycle & Carriage dealer group. The facility has a built-up area of 39,240 sq. ft. There is space to showcase up to eight vehicles at any one time. There are state-of-the-art aftersales facilities with 20 operational service bays. Also, the latest manufacturer-approved diagnostic systems, specialised maintenance tools, and technical equipment are available.
