New Toyota Yaris with styling enhancements, new features and technology and slight price increase
The new Toyota Yaris IMP is now in Malaysia, with additional features, styling enhancements, new technology and a refreshed interior ambience. There are two variants, the 1.5E model now at RM88,000, RM83,300 previously; and the 1.5G now at RM91,600, RM87,600 previously. Both prices are on-the-road, without insurance. Over 60,300 units of Toyota Yaris has sold in Malaysia since its launch in 2019.
Both variants pack a sporty new front and rear skirting, as well as an optional 2-tone paint finish with a striking black roof. Five colour combinations are available, with Red Mica Metallic and Platinum White Pearl colours available in single or two-tone options. The Silver Metallic finish is only available in single-tone.
The engine and transmission are unchanged, a four-cylinder, 1.5-litre engine with a seven-speed CVT gearbox.
New inside, the Yaris now

In addition, the new Toyota Yaris 1.5G variant gets a soft leather steering wheel with paddle shifters, a pre-installed RFID tag and parking aid sensors at the front and rear.
Both variants come with a host of safety features as standard: Toyota Safety Sense Precollision System & Lane Departure Alert, seven SRS Airbags, Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Vehicle Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, 3D panoramic view monitor and more. The Yaris has five-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating
