Mitsubishi Triton range updated

In mid-life refresh, pick-up truck range gets updated looks, additional features and new accessories 

The Mitsubishi Triton range has been updated. Top-of-the-range Triton Adventure X gets an all-round monitor, a built-in dash cam, new body decals and solar and security tint.

The mid-range Triton AT Premium’s equipment upgrades include dash cam, leather seats and seven-inch touchscreen monitor for the infotainment system which is Apple Carplay and Android Auto ready.

The base model, the Triton Quest is the most affordable pick-up truck in the market at RM79,890. Powered by a 2.5-litre turbo-diesel engine that produces 108bhp and 200Nm of torque, the Triton Quest has a manual gearbox. The Triton Quest has seat belts with pre-tentioners and Electronic Time and Alarm Control System (ETACS) conveniences: Lane Change Turn Signal System, Power Window Timer, Headlamp Auto off Function, Open Door Alarm, Auto Door Relock System, Auto Speed Adjustable Wipers and a 15-second interior light delay which allows the cabin light to remain on for the next 15 seconds after switching off the car.

In addition, there are two airbags and Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD). The door frames of the Triton Quest are strengthened by  Mitsubishi Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) body construction.
Besides that, the Triton Quest’s Multi-Information Display has information such as mileage range travelled, service reminder, fuel range and average fuel consumption.
