The best-selling Porsche in Malaysia starts from RM455,000 with free maintenance
Sime Darby Auto Performance has launched the new Porsche Macan in Malaysia.
A single power and transmission option is offered at this time, a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine with the seven-gear PDK dual-clutch gearbox. Output is 252bhp and 370Nm with zero-to-hundred in 6.7 seconds and top speed of 225km/h.
The SUV has been heavily updated on the exterior to make the Macan look wider. Most prominent, are the tail lamps which are now a three dimensional LED panel across the rear. There are also new LED headlights as standard with the option of the Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus adaptive headlamps.
Inside, there’s a new larger HD monitor for the customisable infotainment system – 10.9-inches from the previous 7.2 – which can now be voice-controlled. New interior options are offered like a GT sports steering wheel. For those who opt for the sport chrono package, a driving mode selection switch is now on the steering wheel.
The new Macan Premium Package with a range of added specs is standard. These enhanced features include 14-way power seats with memory for both front seats, LED comfort lighting package in the cabin, power steering plus, Park Assist including reverse camera, automatic dimming mirrors and a Bose Surround Sound System.
Four new exterior colours are available: Mamba Green Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, Miami Blue and Crayon. The new Porsche Macan starts from RM455,000 which includes a four-year warranty and free maintenance package that includes free parts and labour.
