Mercedes-Benz Malaysia extends range of E-Class models
Three new Mercedes-Benz E-Class models have been introduced to the Malaysia market, the E 350 AMG Line, E 200 Sportstyle Avantgarde and the E 300 Exclusive Line.
The E 350 with AMG bodystyling has a 2.0-litre twin-scroll turbochaged four-cylinder engine that produces 299bhp and 400Nm of torque. Another 150Nm boost is available from the belt-driven starter generator for a 0-100km/h time of 5.9 seconds.
Driving Assistance Package, a safety package of several safety technologies, is provided as standard in the E 350 AMG Line to improve collision avoidance. Also in the car is Dynamic Body Control suspension with adjustable damping.
The E 200 Sportstyle Avantgarde has a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine. Total output is 197bhp with a maximum torque of 320Nm. As part of the safety and assistance package, the Blind SpotAssist is new in the variant.
It has the standard Avantgarde exterior and interior specifications with the addition of the Sportstyle package comprising a chrome louvre below the front bumper, a badge on the front wing, a chrome trim element in the rear bumper in high-gloss black, as well as visible tailpipe embellishers, on the outside. 18-inch five-spoke light-alloy wheels are standard.
On the inside, the Sportstyle package consists of the headliner in black fabric, centre console in light carbon grain aluminium trim, sport pedals in brushed stainless steel with black rubber stuffs and Sportstyle package floor mats.
The E 300 Exclusive is distinctive with its classic Mercedes radiator grille. The 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine for this model produces 258bhp and 370Nm of torque. The driver assistance packages included with the E300 are the Lane Tracking package with Blind Spot Assist and Lane Keeping Assist.
