MINI Malaysia launches Seven Edition

There’s a new MINI special edition five-door MINI in town, the Seven Edition, with exclusive design features on the exterior and interior, created in homage to the original Austin Seven.

On the outside, the paintwork is an intense blue, called Lapisluxury Blue, described as the most intensive blue tone ever applied to the body of a MINI. The brilliance, intensity and depth is derived from the elaborate and technologically sophisticated production process by which the paint and protective layers are applied to the bodywork, according to the press release from BMW Malaysia.

In contrast to the blue is the Melting Silver roof and exterior mirror caps with matching bonnet stripes. The two-spoke 17-inch alloys in Spectre Grey were specially designed  for the Seven Edition.

Illuminations in the Seven are LED: headlights with LED daytime driving lights embedded,  foglamps. A “Seven” badge can be found on the sides and door sill finishers.

Inside the fabric and leather Diamond Malt Brown sports seats and interior surfaces have been exclusively designed to colour coordinate with the exterior. The MINI Yours steering wheel made of “Walknappa” leather with hand-stitched seams in waxed aluminium braided thread. The steering is finished with a union jack signet.

Other features include MINI Seven Entry Strips and MINI Seven Centre Instrument Ring Badging, Comfort Access which allows keyless entry, boot unlock, and push button ignition. Navigation is included along with a 12-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system.

The MINI Seven is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin scroll turbo engine that produces 192bhp and 280Nm paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox and for convenience, shift paddles.

The New MINI Seven Edition comes with the MINI 4 Years Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service as well. The estimated retail price (on the road for personal registration, without insurance) of the New MINI Seven Edition is RM 253,888.00.
