Pure McLaren Arctic Experience: a different kind of winter holiday

Get your adrenalin flowing and work up a sweat in sub-zero temperatures with the Pure McLaren Arctic Experience: driving in the McLaren 570S Coupé 320km into the Arctic Circle.

The only driving programme in the world on snow-covered roads and an ice track, guests are guided by a team of professional driver coaches. The Arctic Experience is open to drivers of all levels as it is tailored to the needs of the individual whether it’s mastering the infamous Scandinavian flick or building their confidence in challenging driving conditions. Guests will tackled a variety of track configurations on both ice and snow surfaces at Test World, the renown winter testing facility in Ivalo, northern Finland.

There are also activities planned off the track including a husky safari and snowmobile expedition. Accommodation will be at the beautiful Jávri Lodge, the former home of the President of Finland, in a remote location within the untamed Lappish wilderness. Built by Urho Kekkonen, the longest serving President of Finland, it is set amongst vast lakes and forests and is in an ideal position for viewing the Northern Lights.

The Pure McLaren Arctic Experience will take place from January 15 to February 3, 2017 and offers groups of up to 14 guests a three night stay. The event is open for drivers and non-drivers, McLaren owners and non-owners and will be the first Pure McLaren event of 2017.

Prices start from £12,500 per person. More information can be found at www.cars.mclaren.com/experiences
