Audi Malaysia has launched the all-new Audi A4 2.0TFSI which is powered by a four-cylinder turbocharged engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The 190bhp, 320Nm engine takes the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI to 100km/h in 7.3 seconds with a top speed of 240km/h.
The saloon comes equipped with Drive Select as standard for adjusting suspension, engine and drivetrain settings along with a start/stop system with energy recuperation, six airbags, ABS, ESC, traction control, EBD, EDL and parking aid linked to the standard seven-inch monitor.
The front seats are electrically adjustable with four-way lumbar support while the 480-litre boot can be expanded to 965 litres by folding down the rear seats which can be split 40:20:40 for maximum flexibility. The Audi A4 lays claim to having the most generous legroom in its class.
For sportier looks, there is the S line package which gives the saloon an upgrade that includes more aggressive front and rear bumpers, 18” 5-twin- spoke star design allow wheels, illuminated front door sill trims with aluminium inlays, Alcantara leather front sport seats in black, S line sport leather steering wheel and numerous other sporty features and retails for an additional RM 25,000.
Audi Malaysia will also be adding a Technology package shortly which includes Matrix LED headlights with dynamic indicators at the front, MMI Navigation plus with MMI touch, Audi virtual cockpit, Audi smartphone interface for Apple Carplay and Android Auto, Audi connect and a rear view camera. There was no indication of the price for this option at the time of the launch.
The entry level 1.4 TFSI model and a performance-oriented 2.0 TFSI quattro variant will be introduced in January 2017.
The Audi A4 2.0 TFSI starts from RM248,900 and is available in 10 colours: Glacier White, Floret Silver, Matador Red, Tango Red, Argus Brown, Scuba Blue, Monsoon Grey, Manhattan Grey and Mythos Black, as well as a special Daytona Grey with pearl effect for vehicles purchased with the optional S line package. The first 100 units of the all-new Audi A4 2.0 TFSI are being offered at RM 239,900, the same retail price as the outgoing model.
