GoVax free shuttle now to more Petaling district hospitals

GoVax free shuttle now also goes to University Malaysia Medical Centre (UMMC) and Ideal Convention Centre Shah Alam (IDCC)

The GoVax free shuttle for Seniors and Persons with Disabilities now goes to two additional destinations: University Malaysia Medical Centre (UMMC) and Ideal Convention Centre Shah Alam (IDCC). Other vaccination centres covered by GoVax are Hospital Shah Alam, Klinik Rakan Medik Petaling Jaya and the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre.

A CSR programme by GoCar Malaysia in collaboration with Kampung Tunku YB Lim Yi Wei, GoVax provides free transportation to senior citizens (60 years and above) and persons with disabilities (PWD) going for their COVID-19 vaccination appointments. The shuttle is available to residents in the Petaling district who face difficulties with public transport

The programme has garnered close to 100 registrations since 25 May with the  first batch of seniors and PWDs to benefit from the shuttle service on 31 May 2021.

To book a free GoVax shuttle, contact the 24/7 hotline 1 300-30-2633 or put in a booking request via the GoCar mobile app at least three days before the confirmed vaccination appointment. Slots are limited on a first come, first served basis.

Do note, however, that passengers with mobility challenges will need to be accompanied by an experienced caregiver.

The GoVax free shuttle service will be available from now until 31 August 2021.
