Leapmotor B10 available in two variants, Life and Design
Leapmotor B10 is now in Malaysia. The C-segment EV crossover is available in two variants, Life and Design. The B10 Life is currently RM99,800 while the B10 Design starts from RM109,800. This is a launch promo for the first 200 cars registered. Thereafter, the Life will be RM107,800 while the Design will be RM118,800.
The B10 has the same boxy silhouette as the Leapmotor C10, which launched in October 2024 but smaller. The B10 is 4515mm long, 1885mm wide, 1655m high with a wheelbase of 2735mm compared to the C10 which is 4739mm long, 1900mm wide x 1680mm high with a 2825mm wheelbase. Like the C10, the B10 is rear-wheel drive. The suspension is MacPherson struts at the front and multi-link at the rear.
At the front, the automatic headlights are LED. The lightbar tail lamps are also LED. Both the Life and Design have automatic high/low beam, chequered-flag styled LED daytime running lights, LED front and rear fog lamps and ride on 18-inch alloy rims.
Performance-wise, the B10 delivers 218hp (160kW) of power with 240Nm of torque. Zero to 100km/h takes eight seconds.
The battery is Lithium-Iron Phosphate (LFP), capacity is 56.2kWh in the Life and 671kWh in the Design. DC charging in the Life is 140kW while in the Design, it is 168kW. DC charging from 30% to 80% in both is less than 20 minutes. The onboard charger in the Life and Design is 11kW enabling a charging time from 30% to 80% in 2 hours and 30 minutes and 3 hours respectively. The WLTP range of the Life is 361km and 434km for the Design.
The battery has a liquid-cooling thermal management system that detects both ambient and operating temperatures and state of charge (SoC). This works in tandem with the electric motor’s dedicated oil-cooking system for better thermal stability.
The B10 has five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, scoring an impressive 93% for both adult and child protection. Safety features in both Life and Design include seven airbags, 12 high-precision sensors and 17 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ASAS) features which are

In the cabin, there are 22 storage spaces throughout with a 430-litre boot, expandable to 1700-litres with the rear seats folded flat. Meanwhile, at the front, the frunk is 25-litres.
Entry into the B10 is via an RFID keycard. There is an app which allows users to monitor various aspects of the vehicle, adjust climate controls, and even remotely lock and unlock the car but this is only for one driver, programmed at the dealership.
There are three drive modes: Comfort, Standard and Sport.
The B10 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. There is a 14.6-inch infotainment monitor with the latest Leap OS 4.0 Plus. There is currently no Apple Carplay or Android Auto but it will come in January via an over-the-air update. However, there is navigation built-in
The instrument screen is 8.8-inch. In addition, there is 360º panoramic camera and panoramic sunroof with electrically retractable cover.
The B10 has the same interior layout and similar equipment in the Life and Design. B10 Life has dark coloured fabric seats. The driver’s seat has six-way manually adjustments while the front passenger seat has four-way manual adjustment. The Design has six-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat and four-way electrically adjustable front passenger seat, both with heat and ventilation. The interior is light-coloured Oeko-Tex, an artificial leather. There is also a rear air-conditioning vent, ambient lighting, privacy glass on the rear windows and rain-sensing wipers. There is also a six speaker audio system.
The Leapmotor B10 comes in five colours:

- Dawn Purple
- Starry Night Blue
Dawn Purple and Starry Night Blue are exclusive to the Design.
The Life is RM107,800 while the Design is RM118,800. For the launch, the first 200 buyers of the Life get a RM8000 rebate, making it RM99,800 while the rebate for the first 200 buyers of the Design is RM9000, making it RM109,800.
There is a comprehensive warranty package: a six-year or 150,000 km vehicle warranty and an eight-year or 160,000 km battery warranty, whichever comes first. Service intervals are set at one-year or 20,000 km, whichever comes first. The six year or 150,000km warranty coverage is a four-year/100,000km manufacturer warranty plus an additional two-year/50,000km full extended warranty.
