Proton e.Mas 5 special launch price from RM56,800 after RM3000 rebate plus launch package worth up to RM8000
The Proton e.Mas 5 has launched in Malaysia. The most affordable all-electric car in Malaysia is available in two variants, Prime and Premium. The Prime starts from RM56,000 while the Premium is RM69,800 until 31 December. In addition, also until 31 December there is a launch package worth up to RM8000 which includes the following:
- Get RM2000 for deregistering a non-roadworthy vehicle
- five-year unlimited internet data worth RM1,8000
- five-year loan at 1.98% interest from Proton Commerce worth RM1700*
- 7kW home charger worth RM1500
- Trade-in a car at Carsome and get RM1000 rebate*
The price from 1 January 2026 is RM59,800 for the Prime while the Premium will be and RM72,800. Prices are on-the-road without insurance.

The eMas5 is 4135mm long, 1805mm wide and 1580mm high with a wheelbase of 2650mm. Cargo capacity is from expandable from 375-litres to 1320-litres with the rear passenger seats folded down.
There are 32 storage compartments including a 28L space under the back seat.
Powered by an 85kW rear-mounted motor delivering 150Nm of torque, the Proton e.MAS 5 accelerates from 0–50 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. Its best-in-class 4.95m turning radius makes city driving and parking in tight spaces less stressful. The rear-wheel-drive layout and Global Traction Control System (G-TCS) ensure stability and confident handling across all road conditions. At 100km/h the emas5 comes to a dead stop in 36.9metres.
AC charging is at 6.6kW, DC charging at 71kW. Fast charging from 30% to 80% takes around 21 minutes.
The Prime has a WLTP range of 280km while the Premium WLTP range is 325km.
The Proton e.MAS 5 features 12 advanced driver-assistance functions, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Blind Spot Detection. The body is reinforced by the Star Armour Cage Structure, while the CATL LFP battery offers a 3+2 layered protection system, ensuring thermal safety, long-term reliability
The Prime has single colour exterior paintwork while the Premium has dual-tone exterior with a black roof.
The upholstery is artificial leather. The infotainment head unit is 14.6-inches. The operating system is Atlas Auto with an automotive grade processor. Besides Apple CarPlay and Android auto, Voice Command recognises BM and English and there is online navigation with a live map of charging locations.
For the interior, Flint Grey is available for Moonstone White, Graphite Silver, and Slate Grey while the e.Mas 5 Premium has two additional exterior colours, Marble Cream and Quartz Rose, both with an Alabaster White interior.
