Dato’ Azizulhasni Awang is the first-ever brand ambassador for the Volkswagen brand in Malaysia.
The first Olympic cycling medallist, known as The Pocket Rocketman, Azizulhasni began his journey in Terengganu, making his way to podiums in Tokyo and Melbourne.
Volkswagen Malaysia likens Azizulhasni’s personality and disciplined work ethic to the appeal of Volkswagen vehicles: from the Golf GTI to the Tiguan Allspace to the Arteon and Touareg, built for those who move through life with purpose, style and determination.
Renate Noessler, Managing Director of Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia calls the collaboration going “beyond traditional brand endorsements,” as Azizulhasni is a role model on and off the track.
