Honda Malaysia To Replace CR-V Gear Push Knob Button

Honda Malaysia CR-V Gear Push Knob Replacement

Honda Malaysia announced a product campaign to replace the CR-V’s gear push knob button

Honda Malaysia has announced a product campaign update involving 7,050 units of the 2018 Honda CR-V today. The update campaign is to replace the gear push knob button as a precautionary measure.

The campaign addresses the problems faced by customers when shifting the lever from Parking (P) to the other positions below. Being a well-known problem not just within Malaysia, Honda Malaysia is footing the cost for replacements. There’s also no need to fork anything out as it’s free of charge.

If you’re one of the affected customers, Honda Malaysia will send you a letter with details of the fix inside. And if you do receive such a letter, do head over to the nearest authorised Honda dealer to get your CR-V looked at. Honda Malaysia says that stock will be available in stages.

If you had not received the letter do get in touch with Honda Malaysia calling Honda Toll Free number at 1-800-88-2020 or log on to www.honda.com.my
