Zero contact tyre changes at Goodyear Autocare Centres

Goodyear Malaysia ensures safe environment for customers amidst Covid-19

Goodyear Malaysia has instituted its Zero Contact initiative for customers getting tyres fitted at Goodyear Autocare Centres. From the moment the vehicle is dropped off until it is collected, there is no direct physical contact between staff and customers in order to minimise the risk of spreading coronavirus.

Services are by appointment, made by phone or WhatsApp through Goodyear Malaysia’s website www.goodyear.com.my/store on mobile. Select the location of the preferred Goodyear Autocare Centre then click on the WhatsApp icon to make an appointment.

At the Goodyear Autocare Centre, customers should park in the specially-designated Zero Contact parking areas then place their car keys in a drop box. The Goodyear Autocare centre staff will then collect the car to fit new tyres.

As part of the service, each car will have a 12-point vehicle safety check, then disinfection of 12 major touch points before being returned, as part of the service. When the car is collected in the Zero Contact parking area, these will be a checklist in the car of the services performed.

Other precautionary measures at the Goodyear Autocare centres include sanitising and disinfecting all public areas, facilities, as well as any tools and equipment three times daily. There will be markers on seats and the floors to ensure customers are one metre away from others. Payment of service fees will be via contactless payment options such as e-wallet, online banking or paywave.

To promote the new Zero Contact service, Goodyear has giveaways for customers who purchase any four or more tyres.
