All privately-owned Volvo cars registered from 1 January 2021 now come with factory five years unlimited mileage warranty. This is an upgrade from the previous three-year/100,000km factory warranty with two-years/20,000km under an Extended Warranty Programme (EWP). The EWP was provided by an external insurance partner.
The introduction of the extended factory warranty gives customers protection at no additional cost, fully covered under the five-years/unlimited mileage warranty.
In addition, all Volvo Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles (PHEV) are covered by an extended high voltage (HV) battery warranty period of up to eight-years or 160,000km (whichever comes first). This is part of Volvo’s commitment to a sustainable future and also to ensure customer confidence in Volvo’s quality and components.
