Volkswagen Aftersales goes digital with two new services

Book service appointments any time, anywhere and get a virtual walk-through from the service advisor

Volkswagen Aftersales now offers two new digital services: Online Service Booking and Service Cam.

Online Service Booking
Book service appointments booked online either on desktop or mobile. To book a service, customers select their preferred dealership, preferred date and time and key in their vehicle details. An Aftersales advisor will get in touch to confirm the booking.

Service Cam
The Service Advisor shares a detailed walk-through video of the the vehicle along with recommendations on parts replacements, if required. It is the customer’s decision whether to accept or decline the job.

The new digital aftersales services are part of the Volkswagen #Safehands initiative, especially those who don’t feel comfortable waiting at the service centre or being out of their homes.

Service Cam complements #Safehands contactless initiatives. The customer only needs to drop off their key and confirm vehicle acceptance and undergo 5-Star Service Check digitally. The customer receives the details of the repair work via video link, together with a quotation so that the customer can make an informed decision. Finally, once the vehicle is ready, the explanation of the invoice and vehicle handover are also done via Service Cam. The customer can then make an electronic payment and collect the vehicle.

Additionally, there are currently aftersales promotions which include Repair Packages for vehicles older than five years. The Repair Package offers owners up to RM1,394 savings on shock absorbers and up to RM992 savings on brakes. There are also packages for front absorbers, rear absorbers, front and rear brake and discs. Along with the main parts, related component parts such as nuts and bolts are also replaced. This is to ensure better performance and safety, inline with the manufacturer repair process. There is a two-year warranty on the repairs.
