Singapore to Desaru Coast ferry commences services today

New passenger ferry service runs between Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal and Desaru Coast Ferry Terminal

The direct passenger ferry service between Singapore and Desaru Coast, Johor has officially launched. Operated by Desaru Link Ferry Services, the ferry connects Tanah Merah on the east-coast of Singapore to Desaru Coast. Desaru Coast is an enclave of holiday resorts, themed attractions and conference facilities.

The initial crossing left Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal on 7 July 2022 at 8.30am and arrived at Desaru Coast Ferry Terminal 90 minutes later.

Initially, there will be one round trip service from Thursday to Sunday. For the Hari Raya Haji long weekend, the service has been extended to Monday 11 July 2022. Batam Fast, the owners of Desaru Link Ferry Services, will increase the frequency of services as demand grows.

In conjunction with the commencement of service, Batam Fast is offering three months of special promotions. With the promo code available on batamfast.com, customers can purchase discounted tickets at SGD98 during this period. At the same time, to celebrate the new service, Desaru Coast has special packages for its hotel stays and golf play & stay as well as a new Day Package, all of which include return ferry tickets when guests purchase directly from desarucoast.com.
