New Peugeot 3008 and 5008 are first cars launched by new Peugeot sole distributor Bermaz Auto Alliance<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n

Two new Peugeot models have debuted in Malaysia, the updated Peugeot 3008 Allure and Peugeot 5008 Allure. The SUVs are the first cars to be launched by new Peugeot sole distributor Bermaz Auto Alliance.<\/p>\n

The Peugeot 5008 is the long wheelbase, seven-seater version of the Peugeot 3008 which seats five. The 5008 has a 2840mm wheelbase while the 3008’s is 2730mm.<\/p>\n

The facelift models have identical front ends and powertrains, a 1.6-litre twin-scroll turbocharged petrol engine that produces 165bhp and 240Nm of torque and a six-speed automatic transmission. Both are two-wheel, front-wheel drives. The differences between the two are in the additional equipment provided in the 5008 – a third row with two occasional seats and extra storage spaces.<\/p>\n

The updates are largely external with new design features: frameless grille, gloss black side scoops, front bumper, LED headlights with cornering lamps and new 3-D LED tail lights. Other external features are<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Advanced Grip Control, allowing more optimisation of the traction control system with 5 grip modes (Normal, Snow, Mud, Sand, and ESP off)
\n\u2022 Hill Assist Descent Control (HADC)<\/p>\n

Other standard safety features include 6 SRS Airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Anti-Skid Regulation (ASR), & Hill Start Assist.<\/p>\n
