But, it is not just the cars and its motorsports program; part of Porsche&#8217;s electrification strategy includes supporting its customers by providing the appropriate infrastructure for its cars and customers.<\/p>\n<p>Dubbed &#8220;Porsche Destination Charging&#8221;, the program includes the installation a total of 1,035 AC charging station across 20 countries, while a further 900 will be added by the end of this year.<\/p>\n<p>The Porsche Destination Charging stations will be installed at selected locations which customers might frequently visit include hotels, airports, museums, shopping malls, sports clubs and marinas. <a href=\"https:\/\/autocarmalaysia.com\/prepro\/2020\/02\/06\/porsche-automotive-partner-marina-bay-sands\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Just like the ones installed in Singapore (opens in a new tab)\">Similarly in Singapore<\/a>, Porsche plug-in hybrid and the all-electric Taycan owners will be able to use the Porsche branded facilities with the inclusion of additional VIP perks.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, the new Porsche Centre Ara Damansara will introduce the first Fast DC Chargers in anticipation of the Porsche Taycan\u2019s Malaysian debut. More Fast Charger stations will be available at Porsche Centre Sungai Besi, Porsche Centre Penang and other yet to be announced locations. However, there&#8217;s no knowing when exactly the Taycan will make its debut in Malaysia.<\/p>\n<h4><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-40222\" src=\"https:\/\/autocarmalaysia.com\/prepro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/b1-CO20Q2AOD0009_EN_low-720x405.jpg\" alt=\"Porsche to invest a total of 2,000 Porsche Destination Charging stations\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" srcset=\"https:\/\/autocarmalaysia.com\/prepro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/b1-CO20Q2AOD0009_EN_low.jpg 720w, https:\/\/autocarmalaysia.com\/prepro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/b1-CO20Q2AOD0009_EN_low-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/h4>\n<p>Porsche AG says that the programme will be available on all markets in which Porsche offers plug-in hybrid models and fully electric cars for sale. In Europe, the offer extends from Germany, Spain and Italy to the Benelux countries and some Eastern European markets.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, Porsche provides programme partners with free charging hardware.
