It was a busy day for Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia when they held one event to launch three cars at\u00a0the same time: the new Beetle<\/a> and two special editions of the Vento<\/a> compact saloon, the GT\u00a0and the Allstar.<\/p>\n

The Beetle has been updated with two-zone Climatronic air-conditioning system, composition media with touch screen display with App-Connect, leather trim Vienna seats with lumbar support fitted in\u00a0the front seats, bi-xenon headlamps and LED daytime running lights.<\/p>\n

The 1.2-litre turbocharged TSI engine with its\u00a0output of 102bhp and 175Nm, and seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox remain unchanged.<\/p>\n

Six colours, Pure White, Tornado Red, Blue Silk, Dark Bronze, Habanero Orange and White Silver are offered as well as two trim levels, Design and Sport, priced at RM137,620 and RM148,620 respectively, both on-the-road without insurance.<\/p>\n

The Vento GT is a special edition of the Vento 1.2 TSI which is powered by the same engine and seven-speed transmission as the Beetle. Fitted with RM9,000 worth of accessories, the GT has a satin black roof, exterior mirror wraps, black door strips and trunk garnish, leather seats, aluminium sports pedals, GT aerokit, GT scuff plates, emblems and carpet mats.<\/p>\n

Two colour options are offered Reflex Silver and Candy White, both priced at RM98,461, on-the-road, excluding of insurance.<\/p>\n

The Vento Allstar has a 1.6-litre MPI engine and six-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox. The RM7,000 worth of accessories include leather seats, aluminium sports pedals, rear spoiler, black door strips and trunk garnish, “ALLSTAR” scuff plates, emblems and carpet mats.<\/p>\n

The Vento Allstar is equipped with the new MY VW Drive App which provides drivers with convenience at their fingertips. The app is able to get help from Mondial Roadside Assistance in the event of an emergency. Other functions include tracking driving style and fuel consumption, and other smart capabilities that keep the driver safe and in control with insights on the car’s operating conditions and performance.<\/p>\n

The Vento Allstar is RM90,646 on-the-road without insurance, and also comes in Reflex Silver and Candy White.<\/p>\n
