Ahead of the long weekend at the end of August, Perodua has announced the seasonal roll-out its long-running complimentary mobile vehicle inspection service, Tweckbot.
Tweckbot is a 50-point inspection that includes checks to the engine, transmission, cooling system, brakes, power steering, clutch, tyres, suspension and electrics.
Earlier this month, Tweckbot inspected 60 cars at the launch of the Hulu Selangor District Council’s ‘Fly the Jalur Gemilang’ Programme at Kuala Kubu Bharu Mini Stadium.
Tweckbot will next be deployed at the northbound Rawang rest area on the PLUS Highway, 24 and 25 August, from 10 am to 5 pm. Customers who inspect their vehicle with the Tweckbot mobile vehicle inspection service will get a voucher that can be used to redeem a 20% discount on parts and accessories at any authorised Perodua service centre.
The Perodua Tweckbot started as a Twitter-based service (Twitter + check + robot) announcing free inspections at specified times and locations. The announcements have since gone out on other mediums such as Facebook and the press to reach more Perodua owners.
Tweckbot has inspected over 8,000 vehicles since its inception in 2011.
