New Porsche Cayenne, exclusive to Malaysia, from RM600k

New Porsche Cayenne launched globally. Order books open for Malaysia-assembled Cayenne with new looks and upgrades, including additional features and enhanced standard equipment package

The Porsche Cayenne has been updated. The facelifted Porsche Cayenne has a new front end, more strongly arched wings, new bonnet and headlights and rear apron.

Inside, the redesigned cockpit includes a fully digital 12.6-inch instrument cluster with a curved and free-standing design, with variable display options. The standard 12.3-inch central Porsche Communication Management (PCM) display for vehicle functions remains unchanged.

Introduced as standard in the new Cayenne is a new air quality system which uses predictive navigation data to detect approaching tunnel entrances and automatically activates air recirculation. An optional upgrade is a sensor that detects the level of fine dust particles in the air and passes it through the fine dust filter multiple times if necessary. There is also an ioniser to remove germs and pollutants from the air.

The locally-assembled new Porsche Cayenne is available to order online from Porsche Malaysia. Configure and book yours at mycayenne.online. The new Cayenne is from RM 599,999 before customisation options. The first 250 get matching painted vehicle keys based on the car’s exterior colour.

The updated CKD Cayenne has new two-chamber, two-valve adaptive air suspension technology to improve handing and performance. There are more standard features like adaptive cruise control, soft-close doors and Sport Chrono Package, all of which are optional extras in other markets.

Other standard features in the locally-assembled Cayenne are

  • 14-way electric comfort seats with memory package
  • Porsche crest-embossed front headrests
  • electric roll-up sun blinds
  • Matrix LED headlights
  • Porsche Active Suspension Management
  • Power Steering Plus
  • 20-inch Cayenne Design wheels
  • Front and Rear Park Assist with Surround View
  • Bose Surround Sound System
  • Smartphone Tray with Inductive Charging at up to 15 watts

Personalisation options available include 21-inch and 22-inch wheels, rear seat entertainment systems and Tequipment accessories.

Three exterior colours are available:

  • Chromite Black Metallic
  • Carrara White Metallic
  • Quarzite Grey Metallic.

Interior options are with black or black and red leather.

The engine and transmission remains unchanged, 3.0-litre, turbocharged V6, 353bhp and 500Nm with eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission and active all-wheel drive system. The powertrain delivers 0-100km/h in 6.2 seconds and a top speed of 245km/h.

Deliveries for the new locally assembled Porsche Cayenne are scheduled to commence by the end of 2023. Visit a Porsche Centre for more information, or go to Porsche Malaysia’s website. As of May 2023, more than 1000 locally assembled Porsche Cayennes have been delivered to customers in Malaysia.
