Neta, new EV brand in Malaysia introduces Neta V model at RM99,800, only for first 100 units

Neta has launched in Malaysia. The new EV brand introduced the Neta V, a “Touchable Smart EV” at Malaysia Autoshow 2023. The price, RM99,800 is on-the-road, without insurance and comes with a special value package worth RM10,000 for those who book the car during the Autoshow via Neta’s website from 4.15pm, 3^rd May to 10.00pm, 7^th May 2023. The offer is limited to the first 100 customers. 

The Neta V is a fully electric compact SUV. It has a 38.5kWh battery pack. It has a range of up to 380km on a single charge. The electric motor produces up to 95kW of power and a maximum of torque of 160Nm. The V accelerates from 0 to 50km/h in 3.9 seconds. Maximum speed is120km/h (based on actual test). The car can be both fast and slow charged. The DC Fast Charging from 30 to 80% takes 30 mins.

It is 4070mm long and 1690mm wide which is longer but narrower than a Perodua Myvi. The boot is 335litres, expandable to 552litres.

The car’s interior features a leather upholstery and a 14.6-inch infotainment screen, HEPA N95 filter, as well as a range of safety features, such as adaptive cruise control, anti-lock brakes (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), electronic stability control (ESC), electronic parking brake (EPB), electric-hydraulic brakes (EHB), and Dual Airbags. 

There is also Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) so the car also functions as a mobile powerbank to power devices. It can also recharge other electric vehicles if needed.

The Neta V, Touchable Smart EV comes with a body warranty of 10 years or up to 200,000km; five years or up to 150,000km for general parts warranty, and 8 years or up to 180,000km for the EV high voltage part warranty. 

The Neta V is available for pre-sale now, with deliveries expected to begin in the Q3 2023.
