MG Cyberster order books now open, under RM350k

MG Cyberster test drives available at ACE Expo 2024, 26 & 27 October 2024

MG Cyberster order books are now open (details below). MG’s first all-electric roadster, is estimated to be less than RM350,000.

One variant will be available, 496bhp (375kW) with 725Nm of torque with all-wheel drive. 0-100km/h takes 3.2 seconds and the WLTP range is 446km. There is a 77kWh battery with a 7kW AC charger and a 150kW DC charging. The AC charger takes 10.5 hours to recharge from 10% to 100%. The DC charger recharges from 10% to 80% in 38 minutes.

The soft-top convertible has electric frameless scissor doors and will feature automatic LED headlights with daytime running lights, 20-inch Jetstream alloy wheels and red calipers.

Other equipment will include

• leather sports seats with alcantara inserts
• Nappa leather-wrapped steering wheel
• seven-inch central touchscreen display
• 10.25-inch driver display
• two seven-inch auxiliary screen on either side
• eight-speaker Bose audio system

• Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) (with Pedestrian and Bicycle Detection)

• Lane Keeping Assistance (LKA)
• Blind Spot Detection (BSD)
• Lane Change Assist (LCA)
• Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
• Intelligent High Beam Assist

Colours available are

• Dynamic Red
• Camden Grey
• Inca Yellow
• English White

The Dynamic Red and Camden Grey have black and red interiors, while Inca Yellow and English White have grey interiors. All models have a black hood.

The MG Cyberster was created to commemorate the centenary of the MG brand. Morris Garages Ltd began producing MG cars in 1924 in Oxford, England. Since 2007, the marque has been controlled by Chinese automaker, SAIC Motor.
