Mercedes C 200 AMG Line now available in Malaysia

Equipment upgrades in new Mercedes C 200 variant includes new 2.0-litre engine

The Mercedes C 200 AMG Line has been launched in Malaysia. The new C 200 has a 2.0-litre engine and replaces the 1.5-litre C 200 Avantgarde which is no longer offered. The C 200 AMG Line also comes with sports suspension, ALG Line package and Mercedes me connect.

The new variant is also more powerful with an output of 204bhp and 300Nm of torque. Acceleration to 100km/h from standstill is 7.1 seconds and top speed in 250km/h.

External highlights are the diamond radiator grille with Mercedes star and pins isn chrome, AMG front apron and distinctive air intake, chrome trim element, AMG diffuser-look rear apron with insert in black. Also new are 18-inch AMG five-spoke light alloy wheels.

The AMG Line interior comprises Artico leather, galvanised steel wheel gearshift paddles and AMG sports pedals.

Safety features remain the same: Active Brake Assist, PRE-SAFE and Blind Spot Assist.

Mercedes me connect is now available. The app enables owners to check whether their car is locked, check fuel levels and start the engine remotely. Other features are Mercedes–Benz emergency call system (E-call), remote vehicle diagnostics, pre-entry climate control, predictive navigation, and parked vehicle locator.

The Mercedes-Benz C 200 AMG Line is RM 251, 587.39. A number of financing packages are available starting from as low as RM2988 a month (five year loan tenure), including insurance.
