2021 Mercedes-AMG Compact Cars updates

For 2021 Mercedes-AMG compact cars, Edition 1 is no longer available

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has updated the Mercedes-AMG compact car range. The Mercedes-AMG A45 S 4Matic+ and CLA 45 S 4Matic+ Edition 1 models have been replaced with Mercedes-AMG A45 S 4Matic+ and the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S 4Matic+.

The Mercedes-AMG A45 S 4Matic+ retains the AMG Night package with the following features in black and black gloss:

• AMG front splitter and trim
• AMG side sill panels with inserts
• belt-line trim strip and window line trim strip
• exterior mirror housing
• AMG rear aero foil
• round tailpipe trim

There is also has a distinctive AMG grille, and AMG brake system with red brake calipers and black AMG lettering. The 19-inch five-spoke alloy wheels are matt black.

Inside, the AMG Performance steering wheel is nappa leather and Dinamica microfiber. There are also AMG Performance seats and red seat belts.

The 2021 Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S 4 MATIC+ is equipped with Head Up Display.

Both cars are driven by the world’s most powerful turbocharged four-cylinder engine manufactured for series production. The 2.0-litre produces 421bhp and 500Nm of torque. The sprint from zero to 100 km/h for the A 45 S 4MATIC+ is 3.9 seconds while the CLA 45 S 4MATIC+ is 4.0 seconds. Top speed is 270 km/h.
