Lego Technic launches Bugatti Chiron

The 1:8 scale model is a reimagined version of the supercar from Molsheim

Lego Group and Bugatti Automobiles SAS have launched a 1:8 scale model of the Bugatti Chiron. The Lego Technic Bugatti Chiron is a reimagined version of the supercar and measures over 5” (14cm) high, 22” (56cm) long and 9” (25cm) wide and featuring 3,599 pieces. Intricate details include aerodynamic bodywork with an active rear wing, spoked rims with low-profile tires, detailed cockpit with movable paddle gearshift, and detailed W16 engine with moving pistons.

The doors can be opened. Inside, the cockpit features a LEGO Technic 8-speed gearbox with paddle gearshift and a steering wheel bearing the iconic Bugatti emblem.

Each individual model comes with its own unique serial number, carefully stored under the hood to unlock special content on LEGO.com/technic. The set also features a speed key which enables you to switch the active rear wing from handling to top speed position.

Another authentic Bugatti Chiron detail is the stylish Bugatti overnight bag in the boot.

The model features Bugatti’s signature, the classic duo-tone blue colour scheme, and a set of identifiable stickers for additional detailing and authenticity of the build.

Delivering a final ’artistic’ touch, the set comes enclosed in an exclusive box and includes a ’coffee table’ style collectors booklet with comprehensive building instructions. Fans can also dive deep into the inspiration behind the design with series of nine exclusive podcasts featuring Bugatti and LEGO experts.

The LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron retails for S$599.90, with a limited number of the models are available at LEGO Certified Stores islandwide and online stores – www.bricksworld.com/ and http://www.thebrickshop.com.sg/ , while stocks last.

From now until 22 June 2018, purchasers of the Lego Technic Bugatti Chiron will be in the running to win VIP passes to the Fullerton Concours D’Elegance 2018. There will be 10 winners to the event with the passes given out through a lucky draw within the promotion period.

Each ticket will give access to the car show as well as a once-in-a-lifetime chance to sit inside the multi-million-dollar hypercar. Visitors will also have the chance to visit the LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron X The Bugatti Chiron juxtaposed display at the Fullerton Hotel lobby, on 1st July 2018, 12-2pm.
