Leapmotor C10 in Malaysia receives new OTA upgrades

OTA upgrade version LeapOS 3.40.32 for all 2024 and 2025 Leapmotor C10 models in Malaysia

All 2024 and 2025 Leapmotor C10 cars in Malaysia have received a significant Over-The-Air (OTA) software update. The version, LeapOS 3.40.32 introduces new targeted features that improve functionality, safety and the user experience of the vehicle.

Watch our review of the Leapmotor C10 before the software update and other upgrades.

The improvements include:

1. Driving Recorder*
Drivers can now use the built-in 360° camera to record the vehicle’s surroundings while on the road. This new feature allows drivers to capture a complete view of their surroundings. There are also additional modes like continuous video loops and activating emergency recordings.

    2. Upgraded Navigation Languages & Voice Command

Bahasa Melayu is now available as a language option for the navigation system, for both on-screen display and audio broadcasts. There is also a new voice command feature. Drivers will be able to search for songs and artists while on the road using the “Hi Leapmotor” function.

    3. Optimised ADAS Accessibility & Controls

Drivers can now access and customise the ADAS and driving modes via the updated steering wheel buttons. On the safety front, the update brings improved driver distraction and fatigue monitoring. There is also upgraded Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Centering Control (LCC) operability of up to 160km/h, and refined cornering plus deceleration with the LCC and ACC in operation.

    4. QDLink**

The latest OS update includes QDLink. Users can now mirror their mobile device on the central infotainment display for features such as navigation, and music. QDLink is available via both a wireless and wire connection through a data cable.

In addition the LeapOS 3.40.32 update has improved slope detection. This automatically activates the front camera on inclines or declines to give drivers a clearer, blind-spot-free view. The Hill Hold has also been upgraded so the C10 won’t roll backwards on hilly terrains.

    The Leapmotor C10

The Leapmotor C10 has a 32-litre ‘frunk’ (front trunk) for extra storage and a boot tonneau cover for the cargo area.

In addition, the on-board charger (OBC) has been uprated to 11 kW to improve AC charging efficiency. . This replaces the 6.6 kW unit. The 30%–80% charging time is now 4 hours, down from 6 hours previously. Furthermore, a new Direct Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) now provides real-time tyre data. A motorised tyre inflator pump kit now comes as standard.

Inside, the upholstery for the C10 is now black, replacing Midnight Aurora, for Pearly White, Canopy Grey, and Tundra Grey exterior variants. The Glazed Green exterior now has Camel Brown interior. The seating material is still OEKO-Tex Standard 100, a silicone textile.

The Leapmotor C10 starts from RM125,000 and comes with a comprehensive six-year*** or 150,000km warranty***, and a eight-year or 160,000km battery warranty, whichever comes first. Visit www.leapmotor-international.com.my for more details.
