Introducing the all-new Bentley Continental GT

Bentley Kuala Lumpur has launched the all-new Continental GT in Malaysia. The third generation of the Grand Tourer has a new six-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine that produces 626bhp and 900Nm of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox and has active all-wheel drive. It goes from 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds to a top speed of 333km/h. The W12 engine has cylinder deactivation to run as a V6 under low load conditions. Four drive dynamic modes are offered: Comfort, Sport, “Bentley-mode” the optimum balance between Comfort and Sport, and Custom.

Features in the Conti GT include a new 48-volt Dynamic Ride adaptive suspension system with active anti-roll bars, LED matrix headlights, DRLs and tail lamps. There is also a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system which can be concealed by an optional rotating display with three analogue gauges: a compass, chronometer and an outside temperature gauge. The standard sound system is 650W with 10 speakers, with the additional options of a 1500W, 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen system or a 2200W, 18-speaker Naim system with eight DSP sounds modes and Active Bass.

The Conti has many advanced safety technologies. These include Head-Up Display, Night Vision, Lane Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition as standard with additional features available. There are 17 exterior colours, 15 hide colours and one species of wood veneer offered as standard. The entire vehicle can be specced to order.

The Bentley Continental GT is estimated to start from RM1.9 million before taxes.
