Honda Malaysia announces the Honda City SE, now with value-added features and two different prices

Honda Malaysia has introduced the Honda City SE, a special edition version of its best-selling City B-segment saloon. Although the car is the same, the prices are not. The City SE is available in two colours, White Orchid Pearl and Passion Red Pearl. The different hues are priced at RM76,075 and RM75,955 respectively.

Based on the mid-range E variant, the City SE comes with value-added features. These include the Digital Video Recorder (DVR), Built-in Toll Reader, Door Visors and Trunk Organiser.

Honda Malaysia did not just throw in just a front-facing camera. As with the times, the City SE comes fitted both front and rear cameras which records real-time journeys. In addition, the Built-in Toll Reader allows hands-free Smart Tag pass by. To use this feature is as simple as slotting a Touch & Go card in. Getting stuck with a weak battery is a thing of the past.

The Door Visors are a welcomed addition which prevents rain from making its way in and keeps the elements out while driving under the sun with the windows ajar. Last but not least, the Trunk Organiser keeps loose items in place in the boot. Speaking of boot space, the City SE still stands at 536-litres.

Other than the additional features, the Honda City SE is powered by the tried and tested 1.5L i-VTEC engine combined with Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT). Likewise, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) are standard in the City SE.
