Petrol-electric Honda Civic e:HEV is Honda’s most powerful Civic in model line-up

The Honda Civic e:HEV is now in Malaysia. The all-new hybrid variant is the most powerful model in the Civic range. The 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine is combined with two electric motors and paired with an electric CVT. Maximum power from the engine is 141bhp while the motor produces 181bhp. Maximum torque is 189Nm from the engine with 315Nm from the motor.

Exclusive styling features on the Civic e:HEV RS include

• chrome ring insert headlight
• front grille
• black half chrome door handle
• blue H mark
• e:HEV emblem.

Other features are 18-inch dual tone alloy wheels and a single tailpipe finisher.

New in the e:HEV RS are 10.2-inch full TFT meter, wireless charger and compact key card. The compact key card is also a keyless remote. The infotainment system is displayed on a nine-inch monitor with wireless Apple CarPlay. Also new is the Power Flow Display which shows the flow of energy in the car and encourages fuel efficient driving. The display changes in real time according to the driving status and is accessible through the display audio for a better visual of the energy flow.

Noise Vibration Harshness mitigation has improved with Active Noise Control (ANC) and Active Sound Control (ASC) to reduce outside noise.

The Civic e:HEV RS is equipped with Honda Sensing which includes

Additionally, there is Honda Connect. Key functions include

There is also Vehicle Tracking Support Services to check the location and provide vehicle information.

The seats are black combination leather with red stitching. There are four exterior colours:
