GWM Haval H6 HEV now available, RM140k

GWM Haval H6 HEV: RM3000 rebate for bookings before 20 October 2024

GWM (Great Wall Motors) has launched the Haval H6 HEV. The C-segment hybrid SUV is the “best-selling SUV in China”, a position it has held for nine consecutive years, with over four million units sold worldwide. The H6 HEV is assembled in Malaysia.

The Haval H6 HEV has a 1.5-litre turbo engine paired with an electric motor to produced a combined power of 240bhp and 530Nm of torque. There is a dedicated hybrid transmission. 0-100km/h takes 7.7 seconds. Claimed fuel consumption is 5.8L/100km along with a claimed range of up to 1000km from a single fuel tank.

The prominent front grille has a Star Matrix design flanked by LED headlights. There are LED headlights over the rear tailgate in a horizontal pattern as well as dual centre spoiler brake lights. The alloy rims are 19-inch.

Safety equipment-wise, the Haval H6 HEV comes with L2 Advanced Driver Assistance System. Features include:

• Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
• Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)
• Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)
• Lane Change Assist (LCA) with Blind Spot Detection (BSD)

There is also Auto Reversing Assistance (ARA) which recognises the route the vehicle is driven below 30 kilometres per hour. It can then reverse the same route for up to 50 metres.
The GWM Haval H6 HEV is also equipped with six airbags.

Inside, the driver’s seat has eight-way power adjustments with lumbar support. There is also a Boss Switch to adjust the front passenger seat. The front passenger has ventilated seats. The gear lever is a rotary dial. There is wireless charging and an air cleaner.

The infotainment display is 12.3-inches with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and an eight-speaker audio system. The digital instrument cluster display is 10.25-inches with Head-Up Display on the windscreen. There is also a 360-degree camera with transparent chassis function.

The boot is 560L with up to 1485L when the rear seats are folded down.
