Order book now open for limited units of Golf R variant priced at RM268,888.

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia will be bringing in 10 units of the three-door Golf R priced at RM 268,888 before registration. The cars will be in an exclusive paintwork, Lapiz Blue.

As with the five-door variant, the 3-door Golf R is all-wheel drive and comes with a new 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged engine and a 7-speed wet clutch dual-clutch that produces 288bho and 380Nm of torque between 2,000 to 5,400rpm

The three-door Golf R comes with the R ‘Vienna’ perforated leather seats, 19” Pretoria alloy wheels, 12.3” Active Info Display, 9.2” Discover Pro with App-Connect with Gesture Control, LED headlights with Dynamic Cornering Lights, LED taillights with Dynamic Indicators, and progressive steering.

Unlike the five-door version, KESSY keyless locking and engine starting system, exterior mirror memory function and power-adjustable driver seat are not available.
