BYD Tech Discovery Day is a showcase of BYD smart technology

BYD Tech Discovery Day is now at Carpark 3, Plaza Arkadia, Desa ParkCity until 16 November. The electric mobility technology tour is an opportunity for drivers, EV enthusiasts and tech-minded Malaysians to find out more about BYD technology from the pioneering Blade Battery and e-Platform 3.0 to intelligent systems like the DiSus Intelligent Body Control System through a series of interactive games, test drives and test rides.

The event is organised by BYD Malaysia and Denza together with BYD Sime Motors, the official distributor of BYD cars in Malaysia. In Malaysia, BYD Sime Motors is driving Malaysia’s shift to electrified mobility with over 40 BYD and Denza outlets nationwide with a target of 50 BYD outlets by the end of 2026.

Also on display are the BYD and Denza vehicles currently available in Malaysia as well as two special vehicles brought in for the event: the BYD Shark 6 PHEV truck and the Denza Z9GT. The Denza Z9GT, ,a high performance fastback saloon has three electric motors, one for the front axle and one at each rear wheel, enabling it to pivot in small spaces and also move in a “crab-walk”, reducing the turning radius to 4.62 meters.

BYD Malaysia calls the Tech Discovery event more than just a showcase but a defining moment in Malaysia’s shift towards a cleaner and more sustainable future. BYD has a stated global commitment to cool the Earth by 1 degree.
