BYD Seal Dynamic EV launched alongside new enhanced BYD Atto 3, RM150k

BYD Seal Dynamic has launched. The Seal Dynamic is the new base model at RM163,800, joining the Seal Premium and top-of-the-range Seal Performance. The Premium costs RM179,800 while the Performance is RM199,800. Prices are on-the-road, without insurance.

The Seal Dynamic is rear wheel drive. It has a maximum power of 150kW (201bhp) and 310Nm of torque. The 0-100km time is 7.5 seconds. The electric range is 510km (NEDC) with DC charging up to 110kW. The battery capacity is 61.44kWh. There is also vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality.

Body-wise, the Seal Dynamic is identical to the Premium and Performance with a 400-litre boot and 50-litre front luggage cavity. The Seal Dynamic is differentiated from the Premium and Performance by the smaller 18-inch wheels with a different rim design. It is also only available in two colours, Cosmos Black and Aurora White.

Equipment-wise, the safety features are the same across the Seal range which has a five-star ANCAP safety rating. The features include the ADAS suite, nine airbags and high-resolution 360º camera system.

The cabin features are also the same across the range. These include the 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, integrated with the BYD App and voice command, 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system and PM2.5 filtration system. The app has navigation to service centres, and unlocks the car.

The BYD Seal range has an extensive warranty package. This includes a six-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty, an eight-year or 160,000km high-voltage battery warranty, and an eight-year or 150,000km drive unit warranty.
