BMW Group Malaysia has introduced the new Plug-in Hybrid Battery Warranty Programme. The warranty gives an eight years or 160,000 kilometres warranty on the high-voltage batteries in the Plug-in Hybrid vehicle (PHEV) variants for BMW and MINI in Malaysia. The earlier warranty scheme was for six years or 100,000 kilometres.
Owners of cars under the earlier warranty can extend their coverage through the BMW and MINI Aftersales Upgrade Programmes. The cost of the extension for the BMW 330e, BMW X5 xDrive 40e, BMW 530e and MINI Countryman PHEV is RM 2,200 while it is RM 7,600 for the BMW 740Le.
The PHEV Battery Warranty Programme is available from now until 31st December 2020. To find out more, visit https://bit.ly/BMWMY8YearWarranty.
Malaysia’s campaign periods run now until 30th June 2020. The BMW Shop Online can be visited via http://shop.bmw.com.my/, while the MINI eShop can be accessed via http://www.mini.my/MINIeShop.
