BMW Group Malaysia to launch BMW iX later this year

Four all-electric BMW iX SUVs and one gran coupé

BMW Group Malaysia will launch five BMW iX all-electric vehicles. The new generation of BMW i vehicles include:

• BMW iX xDrive40
• BMW iX xDrive40 Sport
• BMW iX xDrive50 Sport
• BMW iX3
• BMW i4 eDrive40

The iX models feature BMW IconicSounds Electric, artificially generated “engine” notes developed in collaboration with world-famous composer and Academy Award winner, Hans Zimmer to recreate the distinctive sounds of the BMW and BMW M models.

The BMW iX variants have a WLTP range of up to 630 kilometres. Key differences between the variants are LED headlights for the iX xDrive40, while the iX xDrive40 Sport and the iX xDrive50 Sport get BMW Laserlights.

BMW iX xDrive40 comes with Driving Assistant and Parking Assistant as standard while the Sport variants get Driving Assistant Professional and Parking Assistant Plus. The Sport variants are also equipped with Harman Kardon surround sound systems and the Interior Applications Clear & Bold, a control panel on the centre console made of sustainably produced, certified wood. Exclusive to the iX xDrive50 Sport are the Integral Active Steering and the adaptive 2-axle air suspension.

The BMW iX3 is based on the BMW X3 SUV but fully electric with fifth-generation BMW eDrive technology.

Meanwhile, the BMW i4 is based on the BMW 4 Series, four-door gran coupé, in all-electric guise. Output is 340bhp with 0-100km/h time of 5.7 seconds and a WLTP electric driving range of 590 kilometres on a single charge.

Pre-booking and registration of interest open for the next-generation BMW i fleet.

The First-Ever BMW iX xDrive40 and First-Ever BMW iX xDrive40 Sport are now available for pre-booking on the BMW Shop Online platform via https://shop.bmw.com.my/ at a fee of RM 5,000. Registration of interest for the First-Ever BMW iX xDrive50, the BMW iX3 and the BMW i4 eDrive40 are also open on the official BMW website via the respective hyperlinks.

Dynamic financial programme.

With the Balloon Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the First-Ever BMW iX xDrive40 and the First-Ever BMW iX xDrive40 Sport can be owned with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM 4,888.00 and RM 5,478.00 respectively (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a five-year tenure).
