Audi augments A4 line-up

Audi Malaysia has added three new variants to the line-up for the A4 saloon. The A4 2.0 TFSI and 2.0 TFSI S-line are now joined by the 1.4 TFSI, the 2.0 TFSI Quattro and the 2.0 TFSI Tech pack, bringing the model range to five variants.

The entry level A4 1.4 TFSI has a 1.4-litre engine and seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch gearbox combination that produces 150bhp and 250Nm of torque with a 0-100km/h time of 8.5 seconds.

The range-topper is the 2.0 TFSI quattro with seven-speed S tronic transmission and permanent all-wheel drive that produces 252bhp and 370Nm of torque. The 0-100km/h time is 5.8 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h.

The 2.0 Tech pack shares the same engine and gearbox set-up as the 2.0 TFSI – 190bhp, 320Nm of torque and 0-100km/h time of 7.3 seconds – with the addition of technologically advanced gadgetry as standard including the Audi virtual cockpit, Matrix LED headlights with dynamic indicators in the front (dynamic indicators are standard for rear lights in all A4 variants), and Audi smartphone interface for Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

Visible differences that distinguish the 1.4 TFSI are the alloy wheel pattern, xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights and halogen tail lamps instead of full LED, and a different steering wheel design.

The quattro comes with S line bodykit as standard: sportier front and rear bumpers and 18” 5-twin- spoke ‘Star’ design cast aluminium wheels. Inside, there’s MMI navigation plus with MMI touch, sports front seats, Alcantara upholstery, matt brushed aluminium inlays, Audismartphone interface for apple Carplay and Android Auto, Audi connect and a few more goodies.

The Audi 1.4 TFSI, 2.0 TFSI quattro and 2.0 TFSI Tech pack come in seven colours: Glacier White, Floret Silver, Scuba Blue, Tango Red, Monsoon Grey, Argus Brown, as well as Mythos Black. The A4 1.4 TFSI starts at RM 218,900, the A4 2.0 TFSI quattro from RM314,900 while the 2.0 TFSI Tech pack is at RM 273,900. The Tech pack is valued at an additional RM 25,000 from the standard retail price of RM 248,900 for the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI.

The new Audi A4 1.4 TFSI and Audi 2.0 TFSI quattro will be available for viewing and booking at all authorised Audi dealerships nationwide by Friday, April 14, with special introductory prices of RM 199,900 and RM 294,900 respectively, while stocks last.

The Audi A4 2.0 TFSI Tech pack is available at a special introductory price of RM 249,900 – that is RM25,000 worth of high-tech options for just RM1000. All introductory offers are whilst stocks last. Delivery of all three variants will be from May 2017.
