All-new Proton X90 six or seven seater, available in four variants, up to RM152,800

The all-new Proton X90 has been launched in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the founding of Proton. The X90 is Proton’s first mild hybrid and new energy vehicle, also known as an alternative energy vehicle. It’s at the top of Proton’s range of SUVs with the X70 below then the X50. There are four variants: Standard, Executive, Premium and Flagship, prices as follows:

Standard – RM123,800 is the base model with the following features

The two-wheel drive X90 has one power train: a 1.5-litre engine and 48V electric motor synergy system for smoother engine ignition and acceleration. The addition of the electric motor synergy system also improves fuel efficiency by 15 per cent. The transmission is a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The output is 187bhp and 300Nm of torque.

The top of the X90 range, the Flagship specification comes with the full range of Proton’s Advanced Driver Assistance features. Three new ADAS features are introduced in the X90: Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Collision Warning and Traffic Sign Information which detects and displays road signs to alert the driver.
