Drive home the all-new Hyundai Elantra for Raya: order books opened

Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) has opened its order books for the all-new Elantra. If you place your order now, your new car will be delivered before Hari Raya.

The all-new Elantra will be launched later this month and will be available in 3 variants: the 1.6 Turbo Sport, 2.0 MPI Dynamic and 2.0 MPI Executive with an estimated price of RM135,000 for the 1.6 Turbo Sport variant, RM120,000 for the 2.0 MPI Executive and RM125,000 for the 2.0 MPI Dynamic variant.

Equipped with advanced innovative technology as well as safety and convenience features, the Elantra boasts new powerful powertrains, Advanced High-strength Steel, Emergency Fastening Device and Hands-free Smart Trunk amongst a host of enhancements in the sixth-generation car. There are more exciting features but HSDM is keeping details under wraps until the launch.

Powering the Elantra 2.0L MPI Executive and 2.0L MPI Dynamic is a 2.0L Atkinson 4-cylinder engine, which delivers 150bhp at 6,200 rpm and 192Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. The Elantra 1.6L Turbo Sport on the other hand is powered by the Gamma 1.6 Turbo GDI (T-GDI) four-cylinder engine that generates 201bhp at 6,000 rpm and 265Nm of torque at 1,500-4,500 rpm.

The all-new Elantra has 5 star ANCAP safety ratings with an overall score of 35.01 out of a possible 37 points, and full marks in a number of areas including side-impact crash testing (16 out of 16), and pole-impact testing (2 out of 2).   The saloon has also won awards for its design.
