All-new Honda WR-V: order books open today

All-new Honda WR-V compact crossover will launch later this year

The all-new Honda WR-V order books open today. The latest model from Honda Malaysia, the small crossover replaces the Honda BR-V and will launch later this year.

The compact WR-V measures 4,060mm in length, 1,780mm in width and 1,608mm in height. It has a ground clearance of 207mm, which surpasses cars from a class above.

The model will be available with an RS variant with a newly designed RS emblem on the front grille and 17” dual-tone alloy wheels. It will have coupé-style rear door handles.

Other features include

• LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL)
• LED front fog lights
• LED sequential turn signals

The Honda WR-V has a 1.5-litre engine which generates 119bhp and 145Nm paired with a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) gearbox.

Safety features, include Honda SENSING, a comprehensive and advanced safety technology which consists of eight safety functions:

• Lead Car Departure Notification (LCDN)
• Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
• Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
• Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
• Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS)
• Road Departure Mitigation (RDM)
• Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
• Auto High Beam (AHB)

There is also Honda LaneWatch. The car is also fitted with Honda Connect which gives access to smartphone functions through the infotainment system.
