Hyundai Stargazer MPV available as seven- and six-seater in three variants, base Style, mid-spec Prime and top-of the-range X
Hyundai Stargazer, an all-new model from Hyundai is coming to Malaysia with order books now open. The MPV currently available for preview and booking at KLIMS 2026 at Mitec. Dubbed a “wehicle” for its family-friendly purpose, there are three variants, the seven-seater Style which has a tentative price below RM100,000. The seven-seater Prime is estimated to be around RM109,000 while the six-seater X will be around RM121,000. At KLIMS, the Stargazer on display is the Prime spec. The B-segment people carrier will compete against the Toyota Veloz and Mitsubishi Xpander.
There is an Early Bird Value Package worth up to RM4600. There is a RM88 booking fee that is limited to the first 800 customers, there is an eight-year 160,000km warranty and eight times or four years free service. In addition, For existing Hyundai owners, there is a RM1000 All-Star Reward cash back.
Like its rivals, Stargazer is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a CVT gearbox, which Hyundai calls, Intelligent Variable Transmission. The output in the Stargazer is 113hp or 115PS with 144Nm of torque making it the more powerful than its rivals. In comparison the Toyota Veloz and Mitsubishi Xpander are both around 105hp and 140Nm with CVT in the Veloz and four-speed automatic in the Xpander.
The Stargazer has a rectangular pattern front grille. The LED headlights are flanked by LED daytime running lights and underlined by LED positioning lamps that run across the length of the front grille, underscoring the headlights. At the rear is Hyundai’s signature full-width “H” LED light bar. The X has a sportier, more SUV look with a larger two-tone front grille, black gloss alloy wheels, sportier bumper and roof rails.
Rim sizes also vary according to the spec. The Style has 16-inch alloy wheels while the Prime and X have 17-inch alloy wheels
Inside, there are three rows. The Style has fabric bench seats while the Prime has fabric and leatherette bench seats. In the X the seats are leatherette with Captain seats in the second row. The second and third row seats fold flat to increase the cargo area. The second row has 40-60 folding to make access to the third row more convenient. There are overhead air-conditioning vents for the second and third row.
The Style has a 4.2-inch meter cluster and eight-inch multimedia player. Meanwhile both the Prime and X have 10.25-inch digital meter cluster, 10.25-inch multimedia player, a seat-attached table for the left hand side second row passenger and USB-C points around the cabin. All three have an electronic parking brake. The gear shift is on the centre console for the Style and Prime. The X has a floating centre console, wireless charging and steering column-mounted gear lever. Also, full automatic temperature control air-conditioning, and paddle shifts.
Hyundai SmartSense, Level 2.0 Advanced Driver Assistance System features, is in the Prime and X, consisting of

- Rear Cross-traffic Collision Avoidance Assist (RCCA)
- Forward Collision Avoidance Assist with Junction Turning (FCA-JT)
- Parking Distance Warning (PDW) – front
- Blind-spot Collision avoidance Assist (BCA)
- Lane Following Assist (LFA)
Finally, there are four colours available. Titan Gray Metallic, Creamy White Pearl and Midnight Black Pear for all three variants and Gravity Gold Matte that is exclusive to the X.
