iCaur 03 iWD local-assembled car to cost the same as fully-imported at RM129,880
iCaur 03 iWD in now assembled in Malaysia. There will only be one variant, the all-wheel drive, at RM129,880 (on-the-road, without insurance). This is the same price as the fully-imported 03 iWD when it launched in September 2025. The iCaur 03 rear-wheel drive 2WD is discontinued. The first batch of the Shah Alam-assembled boxy, retro all-electric SUV will arrive at iCaur dealerships by the end of May.
The CKD 03 will have exactly the same specifications, engineering and features as the original imported (CBU) model. This includes the iCARE safety system, a first-in-segment aluminium body and monocoque chassis with anti-corrosion protection for up to 30 years. The structure delivers 31,882 Nm of torsional rigidity — surpassing even modern sports cars.
The structure not only enhances crash protection, it also contributes to nimble handling. Complementing it is a 4-layer IPX8 battery armour system, which integrates a high-temperature mica ceramic upper barrier, and a 10 mm reinforced aluminium baseplate, which provides protection under both every day and extreme conditions.
The dual motors deliver 279PS (205kW) and 385Nm of torque with a 69.8kWh battery. The NEDC range is 416km. There is 80kW fast charging, 3.2kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability that charge electronic devices and appliances directly from the vehicle. and the same level 2
Safety features also remain unchanged with Level 2.5 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features comprising the following:
