All-new Jaecoo J5 special launch price from RM102,000 until 15 March
Jaecoo J5 launched in Malaysia today at RM108,000 on-the-road without insurance.
Until 15 March 2026, there is a Special Launch Package price of RM102,000 on-the-road with the following
- Duit Raya rebate of RM3000
- complimentary first year insurance or additional Duit Raya of RM3000
- J5 Car Accessories Trio Package, valued at RM2000.
The Car Accessories Trio Package comprises:
- Subwoofer – delivering deep, immersive bass to elevate the in-car audio experience

The J5 is the fifth model from Jaecoo. The B-segment crossover is 4,380 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, and 1,650 mm in height, with a 2,620 mm wheelbase. It has high-tensile steel in key areas. The body has a class-leading torsional rigidity of 23,500Nm/deg. The front suspension is MacPherson struts with multi-link rear suspension. The J5 is shod with 18-inch dual-tone aluminium alloy wheels.
The crossover is aimed at a more youthful market with features like a built-in in-car mixer with app control to transform the cabin into a private karaoke lounge. There are also class-leading double-glazed front windows work to reduce exterior noise.
The Jaecoo J5 is front wheel drive and comes with a 1.5litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 147PS and 210Nm of torque, paired with a CVT gearbox.

At the centre console is a 13.2-inch 2K infotainment monitor with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and an eight-speaker audio system. The instrument cluster is an eight-inch LCD screen. Other features are 50W wireless charging pad with active ventilation to keep devices cool.
