iCaur V23 available in two variants, 2WD and the all-wheel drive iWD
The iCaur V23 four-seater electric SUV is now in Malaysia, available as a two-wheel drive crossover as well as iWD (Intelligent Wheel Drive) all-wheel drive
The body is 70 per cent high-strength steel built like a cage-like frame which incorporates the V23’s Battery Management System (BMS) that delivers high voltage protection and precise liquid cooled temperature protection to keep the battery safe in all condition.
The dimensions are 4220mm long, 1915mm wide, 1845mm high with a 2735mm wheelbase. In addition, there are short overhangs, a 42-degree approach angle, a 41-degree departure angle. 210mm ground clearance and a wading depth of 60mm making the V23 a genuine off-road capable vehicle with 19-inch alloy wheels on the 2WD and 21-inch alloy wheels on the iWD.
At the front, there are LED headlights with Daytime Running Lights as standard and LED tail lights. The third brake light is integrated into the auxiliary storage box.
The 2WD has a single electric motor, mounted at the rear. It produces 136PS (100kW). There is a 59.9kWh Litium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery which provides 360km (NEDC) range.
Meanwhile, the iWD has two motors mounted at the front and the rear. The combined output is 211PS or 155kW. The battery is 81.8kWh Nickel-Manganese-Cobalt (NMC) ternary lithium. The NEDC driving range is 430km.
The on-board charger in both the 2WD and iWD is 6.6kW for AC charging. DC charging in the 2WD is 85kW while in the iWD, it’s 104kW.
The 2WD has five drive modes, ECO, Comfort, Sport, Individual, Slippery while the iWD has one additional, Off-Road mode.
For safety, there are six airbags and Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance system) as standard with millimetre-wave radar integrated into the vehicle body to improve detection accuracy. The Level 2 ADAS comes with the following:

Inside, the materials are soft touch with ventilated and heated front seats and black upholstery. There is a 15.4-inch QuadHD touchscreen monitor, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor, which incorporates infotainment access as well as digital instrument cluster. There is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a seven-speaker sound system. The cargo area is 234-litres expandable to 744-litres by manually folding the second row seats down flat.

There is a seven-year or 150,000km vehicle warranty and an eight-year or 160,000km battery and drive unit warranty. The battery replacement guarantee is if the State of Health falls below 70% during the warranty period.
